------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-04-27 14:40 ------- Apt does not cache dowloaded packages. For apt to do this, it needs extra configuration. File /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/60proxy is attached, and does caching of packages dowloaded via the http protocol. Proxying of ftp downloads has proved a bit more difficult to me, probably due to firewalls. Didn't make much of an attempt, though. Anyone interested can peruse the example given in /usr/share/doc/apt/examples/configure-index.gz ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
