The problem is probably that during install the dpt_i2o module is
available and
used for the adaptec card. After installation, when the systems boot the
i2o_block and i2o_core modules are also available and preferred over the
dpt_i2o
module. The i2o_*-modules uses a differnet device-path for the
partitions.
I've built new udeb's including the i2o_*modules, and uploaded them to
etch-test. Another ftpmaster will have to decide if we want to maintain
our own
udeb's. They are only used during installation, though.
