------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-10-05 12:15 ------- Hmmm... I just discovered that /boot was not mounted. This time it is the other way around. Now the device is named /dev/sda1, but fstab says /dev/i2o/hda1, when installing debianedu dvd the device is named /dev/i2o/hda1, but fstab says /dev/sda1. When changing the entry in /etc/fstab from /dev/i2o/hda1 to /dev/sda1 it boots normally. I can log in, use different programs, install new kernel, reboot, everything works fine. So apart from the "switched" error in /etc/fstab, this image seem to work fine. Syslog is still giving this message though, but I don't know if it matters: Oct 5 12:08:18 dhcp152 kernel: i2o: Checking for PCI I2O controllers... Oct 5 12:08:18 dhcp152 kernel: iop0: controller found (0000:01:08.1) Oct 5 12:08:18 dhcp152 kernel: PCI: Unable to reserve mem region #1:[EMAIL PROTECTED] for device 0000:01:08.1 Oct 5 12:08:18 dhcp152 kernel: iop0: device already claimed Oct 5 12:08:18 dhcp152 kernel: iop0: DMA / IO allocation for I2O controller failed After changing the entry in / ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
