Dear folks, when run on thin clients, it might be wise to disable a direct shutdown from within a running KDE session.
But to block this on real Workstations is a disaster: You need to klick once to open KDE-Menu once for logout/close session once to select "close session" wait... find the right icon in KDM and click the Menu click entry "logoff" click to select "shutdown" click to confirm. This is the reason why every morning - either the machine is still running - or the power switch was turned off and I have to crawl underneath the table to turn it on an then hope that ckdsk (delay!) will go through. Sorry for this, but I need to know where to change this. As for regular KDE installations I do know the place, but with Skolelinux 3.0 there is some hidden Kiosk "features". Thanks anyway, didn't mean to be rude. Regards Ralf -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
