This is true.
OTOH, the latest kernel activates the webcam at every boot on the
eeepc, and this is quite power consuming,so I thought this as a
temporary workaround waiting for a similar rule entering in udev, or
for the kernel to activate autosuspend by default.
The reason of having it in eeepc-acpi-scripts would be avoiding a
regression on the power management side.
Having it there would also be a first test to see if there are webcams
who don't support autosuspend - something I have seen no data about.

What do you think could be an alternative solution?
