On every system other than macOS, including all Debian systems, it reports that Rosetta is not available and returns the architecture the program was built for. The docker command-line client uses it to pick a default platform. Binary package: golang-github-tonistiigi-go-rosetta-dev (import path github.com/tonistiigi/go-rosetta). Why: docker/cli v29.8.1, built as part of docker.io 29.8.1 (in preparation; unstable has 28.5.2, work in progress at https://salsa.debian.org/mendezr/docker/-/tree/wip/moby-v29), imports it from cli/command/system/version.go. The docker.io update is needed by github.com/anchore/stereoscope (ITP https://bugs.debian.org/1135909). I intend to maintain this package within the Debian Go Packaging Team.
