Salve,
ho un desktop con Debian Squeeze che vorrei ibernare, piuttosto che
spegnere, nella speranza che il ripristino dopo l'ibernazione sia più
rapido del normale riavvio.
Non ho fatto alcuna modifica ai pm-utils, e mi limito a uscire da GNOME
indicando "hibernate" nella usuale pop-up che viene fuori in questo
caso. Sembra che qualcosa accada, e i log di pm-suspend sembrano
confermare il successo di ogni operazione, ma quando riaccendo il PC
avviene un normalissimo avvio, con tanto di errori sul filesystem
perché, non avendo recuperato i file aperti, il sistema ritiene
giustamente che ci siano delle inconsistenze, proprio come se il PC
fosse stato spento brutalmente.
Allego qui solo il log di pm-suspend, ma se serve altro provvedo.
