In addition to the core library, there are numerous extensions that provide additional functionality such as additional data formats beyond JSON. This project holds the modules reading and writing the textual formats supported by Jackson: YAML, CSV, Java properties and TOML. Only the YAML module is built, the others having no consumer in Debian yet. Upstream merged the jackson-dataformat-yaml project into this one, and releases the textual formats together since 2.8. This package replaces the jackson-dataformat-yaml source package, which is retired, and keeps the libjackson2-dataformat-yaml library available: the binary takes the -java suffix the Java policy expects, and carries the former name as a versioned Provides. It will be maintained by the Java team.
