The DEC Modula 3 compiler, and its descenedents, like the Polytechnique
Modula 3 compiler.I vaguely remember that this program was non-free and worked with GCC in some way, but I don't remember the details. I knew more about it once upon a time, and if I thought at the time that there was a GPL violation, I am sure I would have done something about it then. Do you think that there is a chance we could persuade Compaq to rerelease this compiler as free software now?
