Include a 8mb /dev/null file as one of your datafiles. It compresses well, and it helps your proportion. The fixed limit gives enough leeway to deal with most licenses and rant-text. If someone becomes stupid with splitting up packages, I think the ftpmasters will give them a nice kick in the ass.
