I've seen this on IRC several times, but I'm surprised it hasn't reached debian-legal yet.
It seems elektrostore, a Swedish whiteware store located at www.elektrostore.se, has rotated the Debian logo 90 degrees counterclockwise, and changed the colour of it, and used it as their logo. It's blatant copyright infringement of course. I've sent them a polite e-mail in Swedish (attached below) explaining the situation. I suspect that the logo was produced by a web design company, and that elektrostore were unaware of the copyright infringement, and acted in good faith. I wrote my e-mail according to this hypothesis. I also explained that I in no way represented Debian, legally of otherwise. Someone on IRC mentioned they had been sent a cease and desist note, (I don't remember who it was, and I don't keep logs) but I haven't seen anything on the list archives suggesting this. Now, what would be the appropriate course of action to take if they don't pull their logo from their site? Er logotype är som sagt utan tvekan en olaglig kopia, och jag tror att Debianprojektet inte skulle tveka att ta det här ärendet till domstol ifall nödvändigt.
