I prepared an upload which fixes the two RC bugs reported (#1097784
and #1113466) and would like an available DD to review my changes and
eventually upload.
There are a few problems:
* The Salsa CI jobs fail; it was pointed to me on IRC that this is
due to a wrong project variable SALSA_CI_EXTRA_REPOSITORY set [1]
(I don't have access to this URL). Would appreciate if someone
with proper rights can fix it and restart the jobs.
* It seems that README.source hasn't been followed since quite some
time -- there were two patches but no patch-queue/debian/master
branch. So I committed my patches to the debian/master branch.
* I downloaded the upstream tarball with uscan using the old watch
file. But when I upgraded it to version 5, the checksum of the
tarball it fetches is different.
* There is new Python-based functionality which is not working. The
tomography_python_programs Python module from src:relion cannot be
packaged due to missing (in Debian) dependencies. There are also
extra Python modules available in separate upstream repositories
which must be packaged as well (relion-classranker, relion-blush,
DynaMight, topaz, model-angelo).
* I tried configuring with -DBUILD_TESTS=ON and -DRELION_TEST=1 to
get some build-time testing but there are compiler errors.
Apparently upstream hasn't tested them in a while...
