Hello. First of all, it seems, that you haven't configured your .pbuilderrc so that it could understand your env variable DIST. Second, once I've reported bug about broken cdebootstrap scripts: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=516203 I haven't tested it on hardy, only on intrepid, but it seems not to be fixed. Also there you can find my own pbuilderrc file, which understands DIST and ARCH vars.
