here you can see reason. newport driver "detect" hardware by searching for
"SGI Indy" in /proc/cpuinfo. yes, it is a hack, but it will be removed as
soon as we implement support for GIO bus.go for latest oss.sgi.com cvs kernel (linux_2_4 branch) - it is fixed. regards, laďa
