Aha, that does it. 2.4.17 from oss.sgi.com. Thanks. Now I'm wondering why it won't support any depth greather than 8. My card's a 24-bit Newport XL. :\ My monitor is a SGI GDM-4011P which supports 1280x1024 @ 70Hz easily, and so I think it should be able to handle 24-bit color. Regards, -- wca
