No need for the attitude, I was just asking if I'd somehow misconfigured something or needed a kernel tweak like I did just to get X to run on my card. Obviously some code for Linux on Indys still has rough edges, not a problem. I'd have thought XFree86 4.2.0 was in Debian unstable by now, but I guess that's not the case. ISTR seeing a log of XFree86 4.1.199 somewhere (CVS pre 4.2.0) with 24-bit support.. so do you still need CVS or will 4.2.0 suffice? Regards, -- wca
