You can't like a GPL library to a BSD program and keept that resulting
program under BSD license, for example. Both licenses are DFSG-compliant,
but conflicting. Actually the viral effect of GPL is sometimes a problem
with libraries (although there are people like me that think of the viral
effect as a feature, not a bug).
