Looks like there was an update two weeks ago stating it's fixed now,
though:

The first link gives a permission error, the second is pretty unreadable
to me. But I believe you. In that case we may just need to wait for an
update cycle in Debian, hope that it will work fine on PPC and that we
get it then.
