In short the results are negative.
The system detects the printers...but... failed to install.
Splix is installed. The system is fully upgraded.
This driver is there ...
/usr/share/cups/drv/splix-samsung.drv
If this is there I do not know....
How are you trying to setup the printers?
If I select a printer using http://localhost:631 (the cups webinterface), then
I select "Samsung" as printer manufacturer, and get "Samsung SCX-4623f, 2.0.0
(en)" in the selection box.
What exactly is "not working"?
Cheers,

Printers are switched on...
I was trying ... Via system > settings
Now...
Via localhost the following.
Click on administration > add printer >No login screen > unable ???? >
error.
Click on printer > a lot of printers but no samsung.
Now on 2 versions of Ubuntu.
The above works as expected. > Login screen appeared > Printers detected
and displayed.

Thanks
