Dear Priate Praveen, Dear Ruby team, I would like to find assistance for the Debian package ruby-chef-utils the tracker page[1] reports as maintained by you.
In the end of December 2025, the tracker page about ruby-mdl[2] issued a note ruby-chef-utils internally used were now dysfunctional and thus cause ruby-mdl to disappear from branch testing by 2026-01-29 Thu. Back then I presumed - either you, Priate Praveen mentioned as one uploader of the package, or one of the Debian Ruby team, or/and Santiago Vila,[3] might be able to correct the underlying problem with ruby-chef-utils; which - would prevent ruby-mdl and likely other Debian Ruby packages to be removed from branch testing As seen today, 2026-01-19 Mon, there is additional note to the log about bug 1123467. However, is there work by one of you -- perhaps just not yet ready for an upload to Debian -- which can resolve this issue?
