Recently there were several articles concerning performance comparision of EXT2/3, ReiserFS and etc.
In different tests different FS won. But mostly : ReiserFS (performance on large files, high CPU usage) and EXT3 (small files, low CPU usage). As for myself I am planning to migrate all my EXT2 to EXT3 (/ or /tmp), and keep /usr, /var on ReiserFS. No ReiserFS (for me) on server installations. --- "Vladimir N.Velychko" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > îÏ ×ÏÐÒÏÓ ×Ó£ ÏÄÎÏ ÏÓÔÁÌÓÑ - ÞÔÏ ÄÕÍÁÅÔ ÎÁÒÏÄ ÐÏ ÜÔÏÍÕ > ÐÏ×ÏÄÕ - ÎÕÖÅÎ ÌÉ reiserfs, ËÁË ÓËÏÒÏÓÔÎÁÑ É ÐÒÏÉÚ×ÏÄÉÔÅÌØÎÁÑ > fs, ÎÁ readonly ÒÁÚÄÅÌÅ ÉÌÉ ext2 ÔÁÍ ÂÕÄÅÔ ÒÁÂÏÔÁÔØ ÎÅ ÈÕÖÅ? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
