Trying to figure out kind of sound I am using with kernel-image 2.6.8 from Sarge. I downloaded the packages to get lgeneral to play sound. mplayer will play vorbis files but ogg123 will not. I don't get sound from realplay. Here is a list of sound drivers loaded:
Looks like maybe I need a config file or something?? Where is it? What do I need to do to get a little more consistent sound working? Is OSS installed or ALSA?
