xhost errors under root and from remote hosts

Hello, 

        I just have upgraded my potatoe to woody and I have a problem.

        On localhost (tanna)

        I'm logged under user francois
        I run X
        In an xterm, 
           I run xhost
                  Francois : xhost
                  access control enabled, only authorized clients can connect
                  INET:localhost
                  INET:bdims

           I run su - root
           I run export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0
           I run Eterm (or other)     
                =>  Eterm:  Error:  can't open display localhost:0.0
          


        From the host bdims (see authorized xhost)
        ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

           I run export DISPLAY=tanna:0.0
           I run xterm
              => _X11TransSocketINETConnect: Can't connect: errno = 111
                 _X11TransSocketINETConnect: Can't connect: errno = 111



        any idea ?:-)
