But in this case the patch in question should be included since the -8 release of the package and default for stable is -13 so you should've the -13 release installed. If it's not fixed in this package you've hit a different bug I'd guess or the issue wasn't solved completly. I haven't checked the changelog for -13lenny2 but I doubt that it includes a fix relevant for this case.
