Yes, I see the point. I have been working in IT tech. support for many years and finally reached the conclusion there are two kinds of people: 1) those who care about what they are doing and want to learn -they can be savvier or dummier but at least they demonstrate interest- and 2) those who treat their computers the same as a fridge or cleaning vacuum :-) For 1) I always try to give them the proper information, at least a "jump point" from where to start digging and also answer their questions whatever they are.
