Last I checked, Mac hadn't patch Shellshock properly and the patch they
did supply wasn't via normal updates, you had to find it elsewhere as it
wasn't considered a good idea(tm) to worry the masses of naive OS X
users (even if there are non naive users whom think different).

I wouldn't trust Apple at all here, not one bit.
