According to lspci the snd-sof-pci-intel-mtl driver was used. I found some thread online about disabling it by adding this to the grub commandline: snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0 After a reboot the snd-hda-intel is now used, but still no sound from my laptop speakers unfortunately.
