The result is the same, but I saw this error message: Aug 25 14:56:42 mrtiddles kernel: cs42l43 sdw:0:0:01fa:4243:01: firmware: failed to load cs42l43.bin (-2) Aug 25 14:56:42 mrtiddles kernel: cs42l43 sdw:0:0:01fa:4243:01: Direct firmware load for cs42l43.bin failed with error -2 Aug 25 14:56:42 mrtiddles kernel: cs42l43 sdw:0:0:01fa:4243:01: Failed to load firmware Searching for that firmware I came across this Ubuntu issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firmware-sof/+bug/2069760 It appears to be my exact issue. I have no idea how Debian and Ubuntu interact these days, and how (if) such Ubuntu fixes flow back upstream to Debian. Or how I could fix this for myself. Do you (or anyone else on this list) have any idea? Kind regards, -- Sander Marechal
