I think your client is doing that because authentication failed with the saved credentials. This is a common behavior. Authentication can also fail because of server errors. Yesterday some people reported issues that very likely caused this: ##### Newsgroups: eternal-september.support Message-ID: <[email protected]> Error authorizing your password with the News Server - Server responded: 400 Internal error (1).
