Last summer, I became unable to post to the list; indeed, I was unable to email to anywhere in debian.org at all. To make myself heard, I complained about this in my posts, but also added Cc:s to them.¹ The upshot was that I eventually got through to the powers that be via Thomas Schmitt (kind soul), and AIUI the problem revolved around debian.org's treatment of an intermediary. So I took a look at my inbox and, in particular, anything passing through Haines's smarthost, guardedhost.com. My inbox is anything but representative, but with a bit of grepping and sorting of its cache, I can see that going back to 2016, only two people have used that service: Haines and a person subscribed to a different list. So it might be worth checking with zen.co.uk whether they have any particular relationship with emails from guardedhost.com. ¹ That's why you once got an email from me (2025-09-01 18:38:32). Cheers, David.
