localhost is normally 127.0.0.1, so that this does not contradict
the setting of 127.0.1.1.

On my machine, I have (and I think this is just what the Debian
installation gave me):

127.0.0.1       localhost
127.0.1.1       qaa.vinc17.org  qaa

One can see this also in the hosts(5) man page:

       # The following lines are desirable for IPv4 capable hosts
       127.0.0.1       localhost

       # 127.0.1.1 is often used for the FQDN of the machine
       127.0.1.1       thishost.example.org   thishost
[...]
