Sorry, I mis-read the docs. Is there an archive of the list.

I was going to run this on a test machine internally so I could start to
understand all the settings but I am guessing that the activation code won't
allow that. So . . . if I use the settings as they are I should only see a
warning in the headers and a log entry?

Yes, you can do that, following the same procedure as you would for local
domains/users.
