Unfortunately, I had to stop trying to tell people because it took up so
much time. And most had an email tone like this:

I'd strongly urge you to let the senders know.

There's no point going through hoops to allow the broken E-mail through, if
your users aren't going to end up seeing it anyways (as often is the
case).  Some things you can't do much about (some people won't close open
relays, no matter how much you try to get them to), but sending broken
E-mail much of which will get lost is something that really should be fixed.
