Ok, I tried this and still no go. I get the same "timeout" and "cannot
delete" messages.
Were you getting these errors before you started making the changes this morning (IE was there any point where it was working correctly)?

Do you have an on-access virus scanner running (one that scans files as they are saved to the hard drive), which would interfere with Declude?

 I'm seriously looking at F-prot or something, cause this
Innoculan is giving me a migraine. Like I said, this has GOT to work
somehow, but I'll be danged if I know what that is. I know the on demand is
disabled, but why it's still there is a mystery to me..... help!
One way to tell if the on-access virus scanner is running is to copy the eicar.com file (from http://www.eicar.org ) to your hard drive -- if you can't do it (or if it immediately disappears, or you see a pop-up message), then you have an on-access virus scanner running that should be turned off (or set not to scan the \Imail\spool\ directory).
