The message was created by imail1.exe I'm not using any imail filter just declude filters I can't find it in the vir*.log or the dec*.log here is one of the log entries from the sys*.log
I think I know what it happening but I don't know how to fix it. The problem I think has something to do with Official Host Name and Host Aliases. My official host name is lulu.ptsi.net 207.50.0.14 my mail goes to mail.ptsi.net 207.50.0.18 my host aliases has ptsi.net in it. The server has 207.50.0.14 and 207.50.0.18 on it. From this log it looks like it sent mail to itself. This is the first of the five from the log 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) processing D:\spool\Q15dd76b024f.GSC 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) Trying mail.ptsi.net (0) 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) Connect mail.ptsi.net [207.50.0.18:25] (1) 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 220 lulu.ptsi.net (IMail 7.13 2201732-18) NT-ESMTP Server X1 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) >EHLO lulu.ptsi.net 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250-lulu.ptsi.net says hello 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250-SIZE 0 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250-8BITMIME 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250-DSN 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250-ETRN 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250 EXPN 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) >MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250 ok 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) >RCPT To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250 ok its for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) >DATA 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 354 ok, send it; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF> 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) >. 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 250 Message queued 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) >QUIT 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) 221 Goodbye 10:29 07:38 SMTP-(00000260) finished D:\spool\Q15dd76b024f.GSC status=1 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony Musorafite" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, October 29, 2002 10:53 AM Subject: Re: [Declude.JunkMail] undeliverable loop ? > Are you using IMail Filters and Declude Filters?
