sensetive, and could mean a lot of money to my company, so notification
to legitimate folks is vital.
That depends.

If you are talking about the WEIGHT20 test, for example (which is normally about 99+% spam), you're talking about possibly inconveniencing hundreds of legitimate users for each E-mail that is sent from a very badly misconfigured mailserver.

If that one E-mail is so vital, the time that it takes to review held messages would likely be less than what it would take for those hundreds of users to deal with the bogus bounces.
