Hey all, I have a thread going on this on the Imail list but I thought I'd check with other Declude-Junkmail users also.
We have Declude Junkmail set to flag messages on a weighting system and then we have an Imail rule set to move those flagged messages to a Junkmail folder. What our dilemma has been is that 1) the users didn't read our notification or forget to check their box through the web interface to "clean" out the junkmail. 2) They don't like the "extra" step to remove their junkmail through the web interface. So what we are trying to do is to still manage the tons of junkmail but not to burden the end user with extra work. So what happens is the Junkmail folders inevitably fill up their 5mb of space on the server then their mail starts bouncing. They call in and we see that the box is maxed out. So what I am trying to do is to "clean" out the junkmail folders for all the users to only keep the past 7 days in there (maybe less) So I need to remove messages by date out of the junkmail.mbx files for all the users daily. I have found where we can remove messages by date but it does it for the whole mailbox...all the folders, that won't work for those who are using the web interface as it would "clean" saved email. Is any one here using a similar solution that could explain how they do it. Or if there is a better way to handle it I'm all ears!
