I've had this happen several times, too, Greg. If you are inclined to search the archives from two or three weeks ago, you will find a reply from Scott regarding a terse error message the Declude log file; the upshot was that if you look in your IMail and Declude logs, you will find this error message and that the Q*.smd file was locked or missing when Declude went to do it's part.
When I looked into it, I found that my IMail had logged that it tried to deliver the same message twice, deleting the Q*.SMD file and orphaning the D*.smd file. Since it has happened so few times, I haven't bothered to take up the issue with Ipswitch.
