What needs to be changed on the Firewall

I believe someone said it is the "SMTP Fixup Protocol" that needs to be turned off.


and why is the current setup so bad?

Two reasons:


[1] It makes your server non-RFC-compliant
[2] The security feature is broken (specifically, it is leaking information it was designed to hide)
