Kami,

Regardless of what you do, people will still submit it as spam.

One suggestion I would make is to use different server and domain name to send these newsletters out as. This way if the newsletters get reported as spam it is not your primary mail server/domain that gets listed. If you have spare IP addresses or can get another block from your provider it might be wise to use a different subnet as well.

Just my thoughts..
Darrell

Hi;
We are concerned with a product we are about to release to our client
organizations and need to know if anyone has any advice on how we should
protect the company against listing in the spam lists..
We are going to offer our clients the means to send newsletters to their
donors via LSoft's listserv. Although our clients are all organizations who
knows when a donor or a member thinks something their local United Way or
organization has sent them is a SPAM.
Are there best practices to follow?
Regards,
Kami
