That is why we dropped dotster like a hot potato. It took us a month to transfer out each one of the customers that we had. Every time a customer started a transfer away from them it would fail saying that the losing register denied the transfer. So after 3-4 emails saying that it was the new registers fault they finally would OK it. It took a week to even get a response from email if you did at one at all and the only thing they would tell you is try it again. We never had this problem transferring from any other register.
I have even had DNS entire at dotster magically disappear too. They could not explain it. When I found there phone number and call them no matter what time or what ext you tried you got a voice mail never got a response from any phone call. Now that is customer service! OK, I am done venting :) Sheldon, Just because the spammer decided to use the most inexpensive register don'ts mean they support spamming. But when I looked through their site for a link to email questions to them I could not find one. Neither the About Us or Support pages have email addresses or phone numbers. :( Looks like you have to register with them before you can ask a question. This is a personal thing but I hate it when companies make it difficult to contact them.
