Since each recipient can receive a different score how are the messages handled?
The way that SMTP works, a single E-mail can have multiple recipients. When this happens, it is expected that the E-mail be handled the same for everyone. Essentially everyone is sharing the same E-mail (kind of like when a magazine arrives at a business, and several people end up reading it). Declude JunkMail goes through all the actions for all the recipients, and does as many actions as it can. In the case of a conflict, the stricter action takes place. Whitelisting takes priority; the not-recommended-but-can-be-useful "BYPASSWHITELIST" takes priority over whitelisting.
1) What happens when a messages is whitelisted for one individual and blacklisted for another?
Remember there is no "blacklist" action. So what happens here is that one person wants the E-mail whitelisted, and the other wants some action taken on it. Whitelists take priority, so the E-mail is whitelisted.
or you could also run into circumstances based on user preferences were one hit a hold value, one hits a delete and maybe other recipients allow the messages. I know this is worst case, but I run across messages like this now. Does the message get spilt into multiple messages (i.e. copies without all of the recipients at the envelope level)
No, this would require a lot of extra resources. It is something that we are considering, however.
2) With externalplus tests is there a new parameter to allow this test to see which email address is currently being tested? (i.e. Recipient 1, Recipient 2, etc)
No. The external tests only get called once. The external test has access to all the recipients.
On another topic, but somewhat related, we are looking for a way to move messages that are held to specific folders. Under an ideal circumstances I would like to see the messages moved to a folder like "domain\email addresses\" Does something like this exist or could it be given future consideration?
It is something that we plan to add soon.
