After installing the latest release of cygwin (1.5.9-1) I can open the
command prompt but I cant start "cpan"

I've tried:

        bash-2.05b$ ls egrep
        egrep

Ok, egrep is in the current directory

        bash-2.05b$ egrep
        Usage: egrep [OPTION]... PATTERN [FILE]...
Try `egrep --help' for more information.

Ok, executing this file is working fine.

        bash-2.05b$ ls cpan
        cpan

So as I can understand "cpan" is in the current directory in the same manner
as "egrep".

        bash-2.05b$ cpan
        bash: cpan: command not found

????
