That  is  not exactly what is happening. _OE_ is deciding that the RFC
822  From:  address  will be reused as the RFC 821 MAIL FROM: envelope
address,  and  Declude  uses  the  MAIL FROM: address, as it should. A
fully  configurable  mail  client  would  let  you  separate these two
parameters, but OE does not.

Try  to  remember  that  the  header  values  are  cosmetic and do not
directly affect routing, which is envelope-based.

Replies, which are generated by mail applications like OE, are not the
same   as   bounces,   which   are  generated  server-side.  The  RFCs
specifically ordain the MAIL FROM: envelope sender as the recipient of
bounces.
