Most reports are that more than 50% of all spam is now coming from
"zombies", which typically are home computers that were infected by a virus that installs a trojan horse that the spammer has control over.

I don't know if that's an accurate figure or not, but it seems like a lot of work for a spammer that can use any of thousands easier ways to send their messages. Additionally as Microsoft and others continue to lock down their products this should not be much of an issue.


This seems like a pet project gone wild or something like that. Somebody came up with an elaborate test for a non-issue.

If Declude would have put as much effort into developing a private, and very accurate DNS based SPAM test then I would be singing praises.

Just my opinion.
