Sorry  to  double-check,  but  are you sure that you are logged as the
domain account and not a local account on the mail server? Can you try
with another valid AD account?

Generally speaking, you clearly have everything set up as necessary to
log  in over the wire, since the login process is occurring on the DC.
And  I  haven't  seen  such  a  "What  the  h---?"  kind  of  bug with
exchange2aliases.
