Richard,

Your proxy's IP address is listed in both DSBL and SORBS as of August, 2004.  SORBS is a pain to deal with generally, and DSBL shows no attempts at removal, though their removal processes are overly strict.

Anyway, it would seem possible that your proxy isn't sufficiently secured and it might be abused.  It could also be a multi-hop situation where a client behind the proxy is responsible for the abuse.  Of course it is also possible that Scott's programming is misbehaving by tagging you.  Prudence would suggest that you double check your proxy's settings, make sure it is fully patched, and search it's logs for any anomalies.  It would also make sense to try delisting this IP from SORBS and DSBL as these listings are permanent and could come back to haunt you even if they aren't now.  When you have done these, you could double check dnsstuff.com and see if they are still blocking you and send Scott a message if he is.  He might also be able to help identify how his system is detecting the abuse just in case you don't find a hole.

Matt
