Ok I increased the swap file and I got SP2 installed by using the 'express setup' version. (It downloads components as needed.) Even that had its problems as it couldn't find a file it needed that was supposed to have been downloaded. However it wasn't essential and it continued the setup and rebooted fine.
I guess I will have to wait to see what happens now. I'll let you guys know by next Monday. :) Thanks for the advice.
