Do you find it fairly easy dealing with the differences inherent to
Delphi's version of .NET? I was comparing some of the namespace issues and
it's all so confusing at first that I would never consider trying to work
with two different implementations!
I had heard the 3rd patch was coming out...I'm going to check for it
now and see what kinds of difference it makes. And no I'm not abansoning
Delphi either, but I'm very close to making a decision NOT to use it for
.NET. This new patch will have to be really great to change my mind now!

Hi Robert,

Have you tried Update #3, yet? It's mainly fixing the speed issues...
See http://bdn.borland.com/article/0,1410,33069,00.html

Also, while I agree that Chrome is a cool addition for Visual
Studio.NET, I still prefer the Delphi IDE, VCL, VCL for .NET and
especially Delphi additional components for ASP.NET development (the BDP
and DB Web controls for example).
Chrome adds the Object Pascal language to (VS).NET for native WinForms
and WebForms app, which is cool and hopefully reminds a lot of the .NET
developers that Pascal for .NET is also (still) an option. I'm using
Chrome, and like the compiler a lot. But I won't abandon Delphi because
of it. In fact, I most likely continue to use them both, and use the
Chrome command-line compiler to support Delphi (write .NET custom
controls in Chrome and use them in Delphi for example)...
