Happy Day, Leo.

If your datasource references a TQuery and not a TTable, simple add ORDER BY MYFIELD
DESC to the end of your SQL.

Cheers.

Subject: [DUG]: TDBGrid display order

I have a DBGrid which displays detail records. I wanted to list the detail
records in descending order, so I defined a secondary index on the detail table
and then pointed to that index in the IndexName property of the DBGrid's
datasource table.

But it displays the records in ascending order, lowest to highest, and I want
the highest value at the top.

Can anyone tell me how to do that?

best regards
Leo Ramakers
